Fighting
Fighting animals against each other to the death for spectators often goes along with a wide range of criminal activity such as drug trafficking, gambling and organized crime. These fights last an average length of 1 to 2 hours and ending when one of the dogs cannot continue.
Signs of dog fighting injuries include bruising, puncture wounds and broken bones. The dogs often die of blood loss, dehydration, exhaustion and or infection.
Laws need to be stricter on those that fight dogs, roosters or any other animal.
Demand Leeds to Murder
Rhino horns, elephant ivory and tiger parts continue to bring in high prices among consumers, especially in Asia. In Vietnam, the recent myth that rhino horn can cure cancer has led to massive poaching in South Africa and pushed the price of rhino horns higher then gold.
What's wrong with zoo's?
Animals often suffer in captivity when they are removed from their natural habitats. With many zoos failing to provide the required minimum standard of care and healthy animals are made not healthy.
Zoos do not replicate animal natural habitats and teach children the wrong lessons. They teach people that animals living in cages is acceptable and they are here for our amusement. At Many zoos visitors harass and disrespect the animals.
Animals are often drugged to stay calm and euthanasia practices are used when they can not be controlled.
